Linford and Kimberly had a lovely, Belizean wedding! Their venue was situated among the beautiful, rolling countryside of Spanish Lookout, Belize, a Russian Mennonite colony. With a palm lined driveway and a glistening lake, Countryside Park was one of the prettiest places in the colony to capture wedding photos! The Schöntal Church with its many windows was just the perfect place for the ceremony on a hot August afternoon. It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine and laughter, lots of colorful flowers, and mouthwatering, Belizean food!
We started out the day at My Jungle Niche for a few getting ready shots. It was the cutest little airbnb tucked away in a mini jungle, and the big windows provided a beautiful place to capture Kim in her embossed, white dress with the colorful teal of the bridesmaids.
The love and joy that Linford and Kim shared and expressed during the first look was so sweet and so precious. I always love the glow and the joy on any wedding day that a first look brings, and this was no exception.
Linford and Kim love people and that was so evident throughout their day. They requested lots of candid photos, and they were so grateful for every one that showed up and helped them celebrate their day. They provided them with an authentic, Belizean meal of rice and chicken or pork, as well as bottled Coke, Fanta, and real citrus juices. All their friends helped serve the guests, and it was delightful indeed!
The closer you are to the equator, the earlier it gets dark, which means, we had to step outside for a little while to capture just a few stunning photos from the sunset’s glow. You will definitely want to scroll down to see them. 🙂
One of the highlights for them was helping the choir sing the Halleluiah Chorus at the end of the day. It was such a happy ending to the reception. Afterwards, everyone sent them away with a big bang (literally)!
Congratulations, Linford and Kimberly! May God bless you with many happy years together!
The colors and details are just gorgeous!
Yes! Loved it! 🙂
