It was 63 degrees on New Year’s Eve, and we were all quite thankful for such a gorgeous day for Ryan & Kellie’s engagement session!
We met at Jasper Parklands. Not only was it a nice warm day, but it was also a cloudy day. As can be expected in the middle of winter, there aren’t many leaves on the trees to diffuse the light from the sun. I was so thankful for the natural diffuser from the clouds! It gave us so many different backdrops to choose from! I had never shot here during the winter, and I so enjoyed the open sky illusion caused by the short grass.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with with Ryan & Kellie, and their laughter was like medicine to my soul. Kellie gave Ryan his awesome haircut. It was the first time she had ever done that! What a special thing you did, Kellie, for this session!
Ryan is working hard in school right now, and I admire his grit and hard work! He adores Kellie, and I am so thankful that he gets to spend the rest of his life with her! 🙂 The gift of marriage will be the best graduation gift ever! 🙂
I’m so looking forward to your spring wedding, Ryan & Kellie, and can’t wait to visit the Buckeye State once again!
