Daylon & Addison’s contagious laughter along with their love for people made for one of the most beautiful wedding days ever! You can always feel comfortable around these two no matter who you are. They have a way of making everyone around them feel at ease, and they care about their friendships! They are close to their families, and their grandparents were a very important part of their day as well!
Addison’s sage green coupled with a little bit of terracotta made for a subtle autumn theme. It was such a nice way of enjoying a little bit of autumn without feeling overwhelmed by the usually bright fall colors. She even had sage green shoes that matched her bridesmaids dresses!
Daylon & Addison chose to do their getting ready and first look portraits at Daylon’s grandparents’ beautiful house! Located in the country near Washington, Indiana, the house and landscape provided beautiful backdrops for many of these portraits. Cathedral ceilings with lots of windows, and a peaceful pond setting made their day quite beautiful!
Later in the day, we went to the Gastholf to get some “just married” photos, and then headed to the reception in Montgomery, Indiana. Everyone enjoyed their fun “sendoff” as well. They left the church in an old car with the roof down, and enjoyed the 90+ degree day. In spite of the humidity and doing some portraits inside (due to the heat)that we had initially planned on doing outdoors, it was a good day!
Daylon and Addison, I wish you many happy years together! My prayer for you is that you would always be sensitive to the Lord’s voice, and continue to allow him to work in your hearts! Congratulations! You are married!!! 🙂
