You are getting married! You are graduating! You need portraits done for you and your love. Where should you take them? Choosing the correct location can seem complicated, or overwhelming! Here are some things to consider when choosing your portrait location.
Here are four location ideas:
- Architecture
- Outdoors/Grassy Fields
- Cityscape
- Lakeside/Riverside/ or beach if you live near one
The location for your session is completely up to you! Choose something that fits you and your fiance/finacee. Decide what you enjoy. Are you the outdoors type of people who love fishing or hunting, or do you prefer hanging out in coffee shops and/or shopping all day long? This can help you decide what type of location fits you. It will not be the same for everyone.
Think outside the box. You or someone you know just may have access to a beautiful estate, or luxury vacation home that is off-limits for everyone else. Check around with people you know. You can also consider renting something such as an Airbnb.
